The "Unstoppable Project" is a powerful photography exhibit celebrating women while supporting meaningful causes.
For this 3rd edition, we chose to blend the art of boudoir photography with the timeless beauty of Renaissance-inspired decor. This exhibit is not only a celebration of feminine grace and empowerment, but also a heartfelt initiative to raise donations for two local organizations helping research and breast cancer survivors: After Breast Cancer & Breast Cancer Canada.
The inspiration behind this project came from realizing how little-known and underfunded the costs are for breast cancer survivors after their surgeries. While there is a lot of focus on prevention and treatment, many people are unaware of the significant expenses survivors may face to feel comfortable and at ease with their bodies afterwards. For example, post-mastectomy bras and prosthetics can be quite costly, with only minimal coverage provided by the government.
Your donations through this opening night will help many women obtain the bras and prostheses they need after overcoming such a difficult challenge, as well as helping the overall research around breast cancer.
This exhibit is also truly special thanks to our incredible models, who are all breast cancer survivors and patients. These women, who have undergone single or double mastectomies, some with breast reconstructions and some without, showcase their bodies in all their beautiful, authentic glory. Through this exhibit, we aim to redefine perceptions of beauty, celebrating every scar and story that contributes to their journey.
